Welcome to Library Helper! First things first. Library Helper is a book cataloging system that functions similarly to programs used by libraries to catalog their books. It bears some similarities to Internet based programs that track publication details about a wide range of books. The BIG DIFFERENCE and the feature that will prove to be very helpful is that Library Helper is designed to catalog the titles, subject, and author of individual chapters in a book. So, if you are trying to find every book in your library (or every book in the global holdings in Library Helper) that contains a chapter by a certain author or that addresses a specific subject, you have the ability to search every book (in seconds) to get that information.

This tool promises to be a great resource for preachers and Bible students. Since it is a community-maintained tool your help is extremely important. It would take a few of us a really long time to get all the books into the Library Helper holdings. However, with a community working on this project, we can get this done much more quickly. My personal goal is to enter five books per day. Perhaps that will work for you too.
